I'm not a farmer. Not by any stretch of the imagination. Never was.
What I am, and have always been, is a prairie boy to my very bones. And that prairieness, the sky and the light, the sun-washed colours, the flatness and the space, permeates everything I make. Regardless of the subject. And any time I'm able to incorporate elements of that actual landscape into my work, I'm happy to do it.

And as I mentioned earlier; I really like making pictures of plants and flowers.
